How I work
I read the position properly, then I show you the working.
Engineers and medical professionals are paid in ways a standard template doesn't read. Here's why I focus on both, and how a file moves from first call to settlement.
Why these two industries
Why I chose engineers and medical professionals
Nine years in finance, mostly inside the banks, working with medical, construction and professional-services clients, plus public-practice accounting experience.
I've already worked with them
Years inside the banks with medical, construction and professional-services clients, seeing how their files are read by credit.
They share the same problem
High earners with unusual income structures: day rates, rosters and FIFO on one side; locums, rosters, penalties and private billings on the other. Often owning firms or practices with add-backs and lumpy cashflow.
They're underserved
Few brokers understand both the training pathway, from graduate engineer to chartered or intern to registrar to consultant, and the ownership end: firm or practice purchase, facilities and premises.
What makes the approach different
Bank-side credit view: I know how a credit team reads your file.
An accountant's eye for financials, from past public-practice experience.
Industry fluency: projects, rosters, locums and billings.
One point of contact from first call to settlement, and every review after.
I take the legwork off your plate, because your time is already spoken for.
The boundary
I don't give tax or structuring advice. I work alongside your accountant or adviser.
Process
How it works
01 Scope
A 15-minute call. We talk through what you're trying to achieve, in what order, and what you already have in place. If I'm not the right fit, I'll say so.
02 Analyse
I read your position, rebuild assessable income from your payslips, contracts, billings or financials, and show you the calculation. You see each assumption, not just a number.
03 Design
I shortlist selected lenders whose current criteria fit, and set out the structure and the sequencing of purchases and facilities. The trade-offs are shown in plain numbers.
04 Deliver
I manage the submission through to settlement and handle the lender questions along the way. After settlement I review the position with you each year.
My lender network
Our lending panel
I compare how selected lenders read day rates, rosters, locum income, private billings, allowances and firm or practice financials.
