Medical & health professionals
Finance that understands how your career actually works.
Training years, rosters, locums, private billing and practice ownership don't look like a typical payslip. I present your position clearly so lenders read it properly.
You spend your day looking after patients. Let me look after the finance.

Why medical
I spent years inside the banks working with medical clients and saw how their files were read by credit. Training pathways, locum work and practice purchases are where good positions get misread. I don't give tax or structuring advice. I work alongside your accountant or adviser.
Common assumptions
What you've been told, and why it's wrong
| Told | Why it's wrong |
|---|---|
| You can't borrow until you're a consultant. | Selected lenders lend to eligible interns, residents and registrars. Criteria apply. |
| LMI waivers are only for doctors. | Some lenders include eligible dentists, pharmacists, vets and some allied professions, more narrowly. Lists vary and policies change. |
| Locum income won't count. | Regular, evidenced locum income counts at selected lenders. Criteria apply. |
| You need two years of ABN history. | Selected lenders have no minimum ABN history, while other documentation criteria still apply. |
| Salary packaging doesn't help your application. | Selected lenders add packaged amounts back when evidenced. |
| Your hospital bank will give you the best deal. | Familiarity is not the same as the policy that fits your position. A comparison makes the trade-offs visible. |
| You can't fund goodwill. | Selected specialist lenders fund practice goodwill, subject to valuation, your profession and credit approval. |
General information only. It does not consider your personal circumstances. Eligibility, loan-to-value limits, professions covered and lender policies vary and change. Subject to lender credit approval.
Put the real numbers in front of you.
I'll read the position, show the calculation and explain the trade-offs, no guesswork, no rework.
